American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose is based on a Mexican immigrant, Juan Jose, right before he takes his citizenship exam. Throughout the course of the play, he fights for a better life for himself and his pregnant life. Written by Richard Montoya and developed by Culture Clash,(Richard Montoya, Rick Salinas and Herbert Siguenza) this play is a comedic smash, with plenty of singing and dancing to keep. There’s plenty of singing and dancing to keep you entertained throughout.
