Event Description

Welcome to the second edition of The Spanish Book Fair of Los Angeles, a.k.a. Léa LA. The event, a joint-venture by Universidad de Guadalajara, Sede Los Angeles, and Feria Internacional del Libro Guadalajara, promotes literacy in Spanish.

Grammy winners Calle 13 will close out the festival at Nokia Theatre. Though much younger than the previous acts, the Puerto Rican duo have garnered the types of accolades many artists take decades to earn. El Residente and El Visitante will share the stage with the recently-reunited Argentine funk duo Illya Kuriyaki and the Valderramas, featuring Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur.
