All time favorites Gipsy Kings are touring the US until August 25th and performing in NYC’s BB King Blues Club. While they don’t still travel in caravans, and now live in the South of France with their families, since 1987 the Reyes and the Bailardos have done much to popularize flamenco worldwide. There might be many pseudo-imitators out there, but be assured that these are the real Kings. Their last album, Pasajero included more experimentation with electric percussion and more South American rythms but managed to keep the ‘cuero’ voices  that we love.
