C.R. Stecyc III is best known for changing the face of skateboarding, literally, during the 70s. An original member of Southern California’s “Dogtown” skateboard gang, Stecyc created the “Pig and Crossbones” symbol and dogtown cross that became synonymous with skater culture. In this Meet the Artist session brought by Levi’s Film Workshop, you will get to learn about Stecyc’s collaboration with filmmaker Felipe Lima. The pair has been crafting short films where documentary and journalism collide. Catch them on June 5th.
