By popular demand, Los Angeles’ own Upground returns to Mucho Wednesday, playing at La Cita for a two-time-only weekly residency — and this is the last Wednesday you’ll be able to catch them. If you want to move with the rhythms of cumbia, ska, and soul, and the best music of the resident DJs, you can’t miss this party.

Tonight, the Mucho and Upground crews will be paying homage to the San Patricios, the 600 Irish-American soldiers who switched sides and fought for Mexico in the Mexican American War of 1846-48 (when Mexico lost half of its territory to the US.)
