The surgeon general has admitted that high dosages of pop in a concentrated amount of time, in a closed space, can be dangerous to your health — broken limbs and high blood pressure might ensue. But it sure as hell is fun. Experience the dangers of dancing and jumping too hard at Peligroso Pop.
Mexico’s rockers Leche (pictured) will be joined by L.A.’s Downward Elevator and a cadre of local DJs playing electro, pop, synth, Spanish 80s pop and indie — including DJ Diamond, La Muy Muy and “that electric chick with black hair,” May Electra. Chug those beats down with the free jelly shots at midnight.
