In celebration of five great years at the forefront of the Latin alternative music plus four Latin Grammy nominations for their artists, Nacional Records is taking a “road trip” with a stop at LA’s The Echo! This mini tour will feature Banda de Turistas on their first ever West Coast stop with New York’s Pacha Massive.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Argentinean quintet, Banda de Turistas’ retro-futuristic style interprets 60’s psychedelic, garage rock from a modern pop perspective creating a dreamy almost surreal melodic sound that has critics buzzing. Accompanying Banda de Turistas is Bronx duo Pacha Massive who fuse traditional Dominican and Colombian rhythms of cumbia, merengue, and palo with electronica and sexy vocals to create a funky progressive sound that can at one moment drive you to dance while another provide a chill grove for some lounge time.
