Los Pinguos, a group from Los Angeles by way of Argentina, creates a fusion of Latino-influenced music. Their sound is concocted via Spanish guitars, a Cuban Tres, Peruvian cajón (box-drum), bass and harmonizing vocals, encompassing the warmth of South America. Their performance is part of Ritmos Latinos en Vivo, an 8-concert contemporary Latin American Roots Music Series being held at the Grand Annex in San Pedro.
