Get your motores ready, for this year’s Latin Music Invasion concert series is about to start. The shows help showcase and promote the talent of local artists, and for this occasion, the kick-off party features Sonsoles (pictured), Concepto Tambor, La Santa María and Cabula. The bangin’ concert/Hipspanic showcase takes place this Saturday 24 at Bordello Bar.
Sonsoles fuses several musical elements, ranging from rock, pop and reggaeton to salsa and folk — what else would you expect, with members coming from Spain, Mexico, the States, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador? On the other hand, Concepto Tambor goes all out for an afro-latino drum-based sound, while Cabula goes for rock and La Santa María leans toward cumbia.
Oh, and note that early arrival is strongly suggested. No fashionably late-ism, folks.
