The Época de Oro series at the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles will be showing films from the country’s Golden Age. This Thursday Enamorada (1946), directed by Emilio “Indio” Fernández is on schedule. Starring one of the most recognized Mexican actress of the Golden Age, María Felix , as the daughter of a wealthy civilian in a small Mexican town under siege by Civil War soldiers, led by their general, played by Pedro Armendariz.
After the film, stay for a panel discussion led by Dr. Alejandro Pelayo.
