Chico Mann will be bringing his particular brand of funk to the Roxy on December 6th. Inspired by Afrobeat, Cuban sounds, freestyle, and electronic music, this former Antibalas guitarist also-known-as Marquitos Garcia creates a “musical time machine,” a unique sound simultaneously retro and ultra-modern, bridging gaps and challenging definitions.
